Promoting Health and Safety in the Workplace

Dhariwal Infrastructure limited has an exhaustive occupational health and safety policy in place that defines and lays objectives of Health management at DIL, Chandrapur

Dhariwal Infrastructure Limited has a well-equipped system of Occupational Health Management. We prioritize the health and safety of our employees above all. To address occupational health issues, we organize various periodical health examination programs, health camps, health awareness sessions. We are following many such initiatives.

Annual schedule for health programs such as Annual Health check up, Pathological (Blood) tests, Pulmonary Function test, Audiometry test, Electrocardiography, Eye and dental examination.
In regular health check-up, besides Body weight and height , Body Mass Index, Blood pressure, Blood Oxygen saturation (SPO2),Fasti Blood Sugar & Cholesterol Level for cardio Vascular risk assessment.
We conduct Lung Function test and Chest X Ray on an yearly basis to rule out any restrictive pathology involving the lungs and Audiometry for early diagnosis of Noise Induced Hearing loss.
Our Occupational Health Centre (OHC) is manned with Full-time Medical Officer (FMO), Nurse and First Aid assistants in shift duty. Its well equipped with modern facilities like Regular & Emergency medicines, Equipments like Nebulizer, Glucometer, Pulse Oximeter, Suction machine, ECG machine, Endotracheal intubation, Oxygen cylinder, surgical equipments and Advanced Life support like Defibrillator.
We conduct a vertigo test (Height Phobia test) for those employees working at height. For workplace wellness programs we organize different medical camps through external professionals for Diabetes screening, Blood donation camps, Yoga and Meditation programs, HIV awareness and voluntary testing program, Cardiac camp and Eye check up camp with spectacle distribution
We organize medical camps in the nearby villages.
We conduct First Aid training to employees on a periodical basis. First Aid Boxes are placed at various plant locations
We have a well-equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance available for shifting the critical casualties to higher medical centers.
We conduct Health awareness programs and Health talks periodically.

Keeping in view of the current pandemic situation,the following measures have been implemented at DIL -

Hand washing facility at entrance and various plant locations.
Social distancing norms to be followed strictly.
Thermal screening, hygiene practices started well before lock down.
Installation of Aarogya Set App made mandatory for entry into plant premises.
Display of posters to create awareness regarding COVID among our employees.
All office rooms were cross ventilated.
Essential routine meetings held on digital platform.
Reduced foot fall by man power rescheduling.
Formation of social distancing in office protocols.
Counselling of workmen from beginning of March-20.
Mask and Sanitizer distribution among all.
In house preparation of Sanitizers and sanitizing chemicals.
Frequent cleaning and mopping of office and facilities with sanitizing chemicals. Monitoring with checklists.
Creating work from home facility.
Set up of Quarantine and isolation centre.
Facilities for isolation and sanitization of different external materials.
Document receiving and isolation protocols.
