Women Empowerment Initiatives

At DIL, we strongly recognize the importance of nurturing relationships through time and trust. We take pride in having established a strong bond of trust with the women in the neighboring villages through our self-help groups (SHGs). Our primary focus is to inspire and enable local women to embark on their self-employment journey by actively involving them in SHGs and offering the essential capital required for their entrepreneurial endeavors

The program's major highlights are as follows:

  • Monthly Business Data Collection Meeting: Regular meetings are conducted to collect and analyze business data, allowing for effective monitoring and evaluation of the program's performance.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Productive meetings are held with key stakeholders, including RCT, Panchayat Samiti, and NABARD, to discuss and plan self-employment training programs.
  • Participation in "Udyamita" Training: Actively participating in the Central Government's self-employment guidance program for SHGs, benefiting 150 dedicated SHG members.
  • Educational Study Tours: Facilitating enlightening study tours to prestigious institutions such as MGIRI in Wardha and Gokul Kuti Udyog in Hinganghat, enriching the knowledge and experience of participants.
  • Vibrant Navratri Festival: Organizing a joyous Navratri festival in all nine local villages, fostering community cohesion and celebrating cultural traditions.
  • Pickle and Papad Training Program: Arranging specialized training programs in Morwa, Soneagaon, and Dhanora, equipping 84 SHG members with valuable skills in pickle and papad making.
  • Regular Status Review Meetings: Conducting monthly status review meetings across the nine local villages, ensuring transparent communication, addressing challenges, and facilitating smooth program implementation.
