Heat Rate Improvement
At DIL, we're committed to enhancing efficiency. Every innovative idea, regardless of its scale, is valued. Our efforts have successfully reduced the heat rate at our power plant, leading to decreased coal consumption for electricity generation.
Green Belt and Reforestation
DIL has been actively engaged in reforestation since its establishment in Chandrapur. Over the last 5 years, we've planted 137,500 saplings of various tree species on our factory premises. Our five earthen storage tanks have significantly contributed to groundwater recharge, supporting a thriving green belt across 138 hectares of our land.
