M/s Sai Wardha Power, a 4x135 MW Thermal Power Plant organized Conference on “Boiler Pressure Parts & performance improvement” under the guidance of the Boiler Directorate, Maharashtra. The intent was to engage Subject Matter Experts & Power Plant Executives of the industries to present their experience & expertise in various aspects affecting Boiler performance like Significance of Indian Boiler Regulations, Water Chemistry, Metallurgy, Boiler Tube failure analysis & corrective actions and New technologies in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) to augment everyone’s knowledge.
Shri D.P. Antapurkar, Director of Steam Boilers, was the Chief Guest of the event while Shri S.D. Mankar, Joint Director of Steam Boilers, Shri Abhijeet Thakre, Deputy Director of Steam Boilers, and Shri Pankaj Sapate, Executive Director of MahaGenco were the Guests of Honor for the event. Subject Matter Experts and Executives from Nine Power Plant participated in the event and presented their case studies/O&M Practices related to Boiler Pressure Parts.
The presentation delivered by DIL’s executives on the topic of “Best O & M Practices for Prevention of Boiler Tube Leakages” was highly appreciated by Boiler Directorate, the Organizers, and other company participants.
