An awareness session on “Diabetes and its effect on Kidney” was organized at DIL Technical Building on 16th June 2023. The session was presented by Dr Pankaj Ganvir, Consulting Nephrologist in Chandrapur.

Mr Bhaskar Ganguly – VP Station Head welcomed the faculty and enlightened the employees about the importance of awareness sessions. Dr Pankaj Ganvir gave a brief presentation on Diabetes and its long-term effects on various body parts, especially the Kidneys. He further emphasized the importance of a healthy diet and exercise in the daily routine and timely monitoring of the comorbidities to prevent further complications.

The session was followed by Q & A and interaction with the participants. Mr Soumen Barua – GM expressed his gratitude to Dr Pankaj Ganvir for the informative presentation and to the medical team of DIL for organizing the session.
