“Blood donation is a noble cause and by doing so you can be a reason for someone’s existence.”

On the occasion of the 12th Foundation Day of the RPSG group, DIL organised a blood donation camp on June 12, 2023, for all employees and contractual workmen in association with the Government blood bank Chandrapur.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Rajkiran Madavi API – Padoli and Mr. Soumen Barua – VP Station Head followed by his enlightening views on the benefits of blood donation. The camp was coordinated by Dr. Anish Nair – Medical Officer DIL along with a team from the Government hospital Chandrapur.

Screening for diabetes and hypertension was done for all donors to ensure the fitness status of donors. This noble cause of blood donation witnessed active participation from DIL employees and contractual workmen with 151 blood units being collected from the camp. Light refreshments were served to the blood donors. Mr. Dinesh Gakhar- Head HR expressed his gratitude to all blood donors and a team of the government hospital.

Mr. Madavi appreciated the DIL management for such a noble initiative and their efforts for the well-being of society. All donors were issued a blood donor card and a certificate of recognition from the State Blood Transfusion Council.
